Lawn Mower Repair (March 1st-Nov 1st)

  • I service residential walk-behind mowers that include but are not limited to Toro, Lawn-boy, MTD, Yard Machine, Troy-Bilt, Cub Cadet, Craftsman, Husquvarna, Poulan, Ariens, and others

    Lawnmower Tune-Ups

    $79.95 + parts.

    Tune-up includes:

    Spark and compression test, test run, tune and adjust engine, replace the spark plug if needed, replace the air filter if needed, change oil, clean air filter housing, clean cooling fins, torquing head bolts, check the motor block for leaks, cable inspection, and adjustment, lubrication of height adjusters and axel bolts, balance and sharpen blade or replace blade if needed, check blade driver and drive belt (if applicable). Lubricate handle bolts, and pivot points and scrape and clean deck.

    ***30” Timemaster Toro add $25.00 additional cost.


    Carburetor work . The average cost for Carburetor rebuilds is about an hour plus parts.

    General Repair $94.95 is my hourly rate. Most repairs can be done within this window.

    There is a $55.00 minimum on repairs.

    All machines incur an $8.00 shop supplies charge

    **A 30 day service warranty is given on repairs. New parts installed are also warrantied for those 30 days.

Snow Blower Repair (Sept 15th-April 1st— calls for bookings accepted Sept 1st.)

  • Servicing many brands— Toro, Lawn-Boy, Ariens, Simplicity, Snapper, Briggs and Stratton, Murray, The MTD Family (Yard Machines, Troy Bilt, Craftsman, Huskee, Bolens, Cub Cadet, Remington etc).

    Limited repairs available (usually engine work only) for Power Smart, Snow Devil, Legend, and Yardmax.

    General Repair Estimate: $55 deposit required. (A significant amount of repairs can easily be completed in a one-hour timeframe.)

    Tune-Ups: $104.95 plus parts (2-stage) $94.95 (single stage). A tune-up is preventative maintenance performed on a well-running machine that includes: Spark and Compression test, Valve lash adjustment (OHV only), skid and scraper check/adjustment, bearing check (impeller, auger, hex shaft etc), shear pin check, paddle check (if applicable), drive disc and friction wheel inspection, lubrication of drive system, grease axels, air up tires/tire check, belt check, cable check and adjustment, oil change, spark plug replacement and tuning/adjusting RPM of the engine.

    Carburetor work: I charge a flat labor rate on carb work depending on the type of engine on the machine. If you get me your engine brand/number I can get you an idea of a price.

    Additional Repairs: Things like Belt replacements, cable replacements, or other repairs not mentioned above can be discussed and covered in the Repair Calls cost.

    There is a $55.00 Minimum on repairs.

Power Equipment (dates listed in types tab)

  • Log Splitters (year round), Garden Tillers (March 1st- Nov 1st), Generators (year round), Power/Pressure washers (April 15th-Nov 1st) , Weed Trimmers (April 1-Nov 1st) , and Blowers (year round) can be serviced also depending on the brand. I do not do work on pressure washer pumps or generator gensets but I can work on the motor portions.

  • Payments can be made vis debit or credit only—I do no carry cash nor do I accept cash or checks due to the mobile nature of the business.

    Costs are determined on these types of equipment on a case-by-case basis as there are many different things that can be needed.

    Again, most repairs can be done for the hourly rate of $94.95 + Parts — sometimes less.

    There is a $55 minimum on service.

Based out of Robbinsdale—I happily provide service to a portion of the NW Twin Cities Metro. Small Trip charges apply to cities not touching borders with Robbinsdale I try to keep the cost low to provide this service for everyone. Prices updated Jan 1st 2024.

Included within the prices: are Robbinsdale residents with no trip charge,

$5 charge: Crystal, Golden Valley (N of Medicine Lake Rd/26th Ave N and E of Winnetka) North Minneapolis (N. Of 26th Ave N), and Brooklyn Center.

$15 charge: Golden Valley (S. Of 26th/Medicine Lake Rd & East Of Winnetka), Crystal (West of Winnetka), New Hope, Bryn Mawr/Minneapolis area (North of 394), N. Mpls (South of 26th) and Brooklyn Park (South of 73rd Ave).

$25 charge: Plymouth (East of 494), St. Louis Park, Golden Valley (west of Winnetka), Brooklyn Park (North of 73rd Ave and South of 610), North East Minneapolis.

$35 charge: Brooklyn Park (North of 610), Champlin, Maple Grove, Osseo, Minnetonka (East of 494), Plymouth (West of 494).

$45 charge : Minnetonka (West of 494), Wayzata, Maple Grove/Plymouth (West of 101), Edina. (Now serving Eden Prairie)

$50-$100 charge: I will potentially consider areas not listed if I am slow and have time to go beyond the regular areas of service.

Cancelling: While I understand there may come a time where an appointment is needing rescheduled all I ask is that you let me know 24 hrs before so I have a chance to fill that spot for the day.
